OpenMethods Summer 2022 Release

The Latest OpenMethods General Availability Release





What's included in this release?


The OpenMethods Summer 2022 release includes notable updates to the Harmony and PopFlow products. 


  • 🆕 Cisco Agent Device Selection for Agent Adapter & Harmony Media Bar (BUI) users whom integrate with Cisco. Learn more here.


  • 🆕 NICE inContact Integration Enhancements
    • Queue Adapter Cache: Updates to queuing logic within NICE inContact. Read more about the logic and process here.
    • Queue Adapter Persistent Queue: New support for Persistent Queue, learn how to enable it here.
    • Enable (ACW) After Call Work State is a new agent status manually selected to enter after call work in the Harmony Media Bar. Learn more about ACW here.


Fixed Issues✌️


In addition to all the new feature(s) we developed, we also fixed the following issues:

Product Description
Harmony
  • Fixed an issues with work items from the NICE inContact integration freezing within the Media Bar.
  • Improvements made to the login process for Media Bar and NICE inContact Integration.
  • Logging updates to help capture more detail & information.
  • Accept Button improvements to better track interactions states internally.
  • Harmony will now expose the NICE Interaction ID for Digital Interaction (Emails & Chats).
  • .Net Media Bar fixed runtime issues with AddIns.
Config Server
  • Improvements to our international support for NICE inContact integrations.
PopFlow
  • .Net PopFlow fixed runtime issues with AddIns.

These enhancements include:

 

  • Preview Feature: Secure server-side API calls with AppConnector
  • Streamlined and updated UI
  • Addition of SOAP activities
  • Enhanced Test Harness for easier testing and verification of new PopFlows
  • Enhancements to Pop Search & Select
  • Ability to add Harmony context for custom events
  • New PopFlow activity to trigger call recordings in Harmony

Harmony


The Harmony enhancements and improvements provide greater visibility and control of your Oracle and telephony platforms within the Harmony Media Bar.

Here are a few of the notable improvements:

 

  • DTMF Dial Pad enhanced with a new text box that allows for alphanumeric entry via keypad or directly in the on-screen text box.
  • View real-time agent status to check agent availability
  • Full visibility and control over Oracle Chat Agent functions
  • A new agent status allows agents to enter After Call Work (ACW)
 

Integrations

 

  • NICE inContact integration now a fully-supported integration with OpenMethods Experience Cloud.

 

  • Cisco Device Selection allows agents to select their preferred when logging into Harmony Media Bar, and also allows agents to switch devices. This provides agents with a greater deal of flexibility as they move shifts, office spaces, and work locations.
 

Security

 

Numerous security enhancements and improvements.
 

Bug Fixes

 

We apply a number of bug fixes in every software release. These fixes address performance and stability across the platform.

AppConnector is a new PopFlow feature that allows external API server-side calls using user-configured application connections. API application connections can be built and secured to connect to the source you want to reach, and can be securely reused within any of your PopFlows.
