3. Data Activities

Data activities allow PopFlow to send/receive data from a repository that contains data in a structured or unstructured format. Data sources, such as pre-existing reports or CRM information, can be internal to the CRM. The data can also be external to a CRM, including databases, spreadsheets, files, APIs, web services, data feeds, and more.

The data can be further processed, analyzed, and used to support business decisions, operations, and workflows.

3.1 GET, UPDATE, POST Data

PopFlow allows instant access to data held directly in the CRM!

  1. Run & Access Reports within the CRM
  2. Get, Post Data from Contacts, Incidents, Answers, Knowledge Base, and many more.
    1. See further use cases below for examples of how this data is commonly used.

3.2 HTTPS Requests

With HTTPS requests, PopFlow can access data from external sources in a secure and efficient way. This can include retrieving data from APIs or other web services, which can be used to automate processes or provide additional insights into customer interactions. This can help users save time and effort by automating routine tasks and allowing them to access data that might not be available through other means.

3.3 Run Javascript

JavaScript can be used to create custom logic and build more complex workflows in PopFlow. It allows you to add custom functionality and automate tasks that are not supported out of the box.

JavaScript can be used to transform data in PopFlow. This can include formatting dates and times, converting data types, and filtering data based on specific criteria.

  1. CRM Data & Reports
    1. Run & Access Reports within the CRM
    2. Get, Post Data from Contacts, Incidents, Answers, Knowledge Base
  2. HTTPS Requests & APIs
    1. Allows PopFlow to retrieve or submit data to/from an API endpoint (Internally and/or Externally).
  3. Run Javascript
    1. Incorporates Code & Logic into PopFlow and uses the results in the current activity or downstream in further activity steps or PopFlow executions.

4. Common Data Use Cases

A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system allows businesses to manage their interactions with customers and potential customers. One of the key features of the PopFlow system is the ability to search and display customer data based on various criteria. This can be done through PopFlow matching data or contacts, multi-matching, or no match.

The data can be related to common information already present in your CRM Instance, such as:

Common Data Elements

Using the example above, PopFlow can return Matched, Multi-Matched, or No Matches.

4.1 Matched Data

When PopFlow matches data or contact, the search results will display information that matches the search criteria exactly. This benefits both the consumer and the CRM user as it allows for quick and easy access to relevant information.

For example, if a CRM user is searching for a customer's contact information using the customer's name, if the data/contact match, the system will display the correct information immediately. This saves the CRM user time and ensures that the information they are looking at is accurate.

From a consumer perspective, matched data/contact ensures they receive personalized attention and that their information matches one or more stored and managed accurately.

4.2 Multi-Match Data

A multi-match search means that PopFlow will display search results that match one or more of the search criteria. This can be beneficial when the search criteria are not specific enough to produce a single match.

For example, if a CRM user searches for a customer using a partial name, a multi-match search can help by displaying all customers with names that match the search criteria, even if they don't match exactly.

From a consumer perspective, multi-match search can be helpful in cases where they may have multiple accounts or variations of their name. This ensures that all relevant information is displayed and helps to avoid confusion or errors in data management.

4.3 No Match Data

When a PopFlow displays no match results, the search criteria produce no matches. This can be beneficial in cases where the CRM user needs to verify that a customer or piece of information does not exist in the system.

For example, if a CRM user needs to ensure that a duplicate account is not created for a customer, a no-match search can help verify that the customer does not already exist in the system.

From a consumer perspective, no-match results can be beneficial in cases where they want to ensure that their information is not being stored or managed incorrectly. It also provides transparency in the data management process and ensures that the system is not creating duplicate accounts or storing inaccurate information.

In conclusion, the value and benefits of each search option (matched data/contact, multi-match, and no match) in a CRM system vary for both the consumer and the CRM user. By PopFlow providing various search options, CRM systems can ensure accuracy in data management, personalized attention for consumers, and transparency in the data management process.
