OpenMethods Fall 2022 Release!

 

The Fall 2022 Release is now the latest General Availability (GA) release to all customers!

What's included in this release? 🆕


 

 

🧪 AppConnector (Preview Feature)  - Build an API application connection and securely reuse the connection within any of your PopFlows! 

 

AppConnector is a patent-pending server-side authentication that eliminates client-side injection attacks, keylogging, and data leaks in the browser within CRM workflows.       
 


The AppConnector allows PopFlow to call user-configured connections, hence AppConnector! Build quickly, reuse, and, most importantly, secure!

In addition to the new feature(s) we developed, we also fixed the following issues:

Experience Cloud

Configuration:

  • Improvements to configuration.
  • Updates to bulk editing and deleting of configuration.

User Interface:

  • Minor updates to the PopFlow designer. 
Harmony

Integration Improvements:

  • Several enhancements to the Harmony NICE integrations
  • Enable Masked Recordings from Media Bar

Fixes & Improvements:

  • Fixed issues with Harmony Logins and load-balancing between Harmony Integration Servers (HIS). 
    • "Unable to connect to network server"
  • Resolved "Unable to get Agent Information. Please try again" errors.
  • Fixed Address Book errors when transferring calls.

User Interface:

  • Fixes to the Media Bar Tooltips
PopFlow

Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed issues with PopFlow's disappearing when double-clicking modal windows.
  • Resolved issues with the studio "Send Test" tool where PopFlow Tests could not be sent.
  • Fixed an issue that caused PopFlow's to execute with latency.
  • Resolution to PopUp Windows & Errors when using Desktop Notifications within PopFlow.

Product Known Issue
Harmony

Chrome Browser Network Throttling:

  • Read up on how this is impacting Harmony Media Bar here.

Unable to open Real Time Agent Status report:

  • The issue only impacts Cisco Integrations using "Live Window"
PopFlow

Oracle Live Window:

  • When using "Live Window" with PopFlow, the designer must select "Window" for Pop-up Type.

Here are a few of the notable improvements:

 

  • DTMF Dial Pad enhanced with a new text box that allows for alphanumeric entry via keypad or directly in the on-screen text box.
  • View real-time agent status to check agent availability
  • Full visibility and control over Oracle Chat Agent functions
  • A new agent status allows agents to enter After Call Work (ACW)
 

Integrations

 

  • NICE inContact integration now a fully-supported integration with OpenMethods Experience Cloud.

 

  • Cisco Device Selection allows agents to select their preferred when logging into Harmony Media Bar, and also allows agents to switch devices. This provides agents with a greater deal of flexibility as they move shifts, office spaces, and work locations.

AppConnector is a new PopFlow feature that allows external API server-side calls using user-configured application connections. API application connections can be built and secured to connect to the source you want to reach, and can be securely reused within any of your PopFlows.
